Having just witnessed a man be sentenced to just short of 10 years in jail for involuntarily killing someone in an accident, I realized most don't know about this. Airbag control modules give can give courts a lot of information about your vehicle speed and control leading up in the seconds before an accident.
Granted a jury would probably see doing 70 on a highway where the speed limit is 65 differently than someone doing 40 in a congested downtown area where the limit is 35, it's still something to keep in mind. Be safe
