LPT: On most airplanes, there is a hidden button underneath the outer arm rest (closest to the aisle) that allows you to raise the arm rest making it easier to get in and out of your row.

Applies to economy class/coach.

First class usually does not have this with the way the seats are designed but, you've probably got enough space already.
