Why you may ask? The hair on your face tends to be at its absolute softest and easiest to cut and shower mirrors are by no means expensive (Although I'd suggest a better one) and you should have a shower mirror because in my experience, just doing it by feel always just leads to accidents, whether it be hair that shouldn't be cut getting cut, or missed spots, or mysterious blood all over the place.
