LPT: When giving a child a present that uses batteries, make sure that they are included, otherwise include some. Nothing is more frustrating to a kid than getting an awesome toy on Christmas morning that they can't play.

Same goes for adults too, but this is extra important with kids. Going out of your way to get the right batteries, especially if they're some random weird type, really makes a difference.
