For instance, I had a 36 month plan at $150/month. I paid for 7 months and had to close my at-home business. So I have to pay (75% of ($150x36mo)) - ($150x7) = 4050 - 1050 = ~$3000 termination fee.
Didn't hear a word of this from the rep who signed me up nor did I read it anywhere in the contract I signed. The rep I tried cancelling with even said that the rep I signed up with should have made sure I knew that, but that there is nothing he can do now.
$4050 is the most expensive 7mo the worth of Internet service
