Most cell Phone providers have an address that you can add onto the end of a phone number to email them as a text.
I.e. 1235554567@vtext.com would be the Verizon email for the phone number (123)555-4567.
AT&T is @txt.att.net, T-Mobile is @tmomail.net Verizon is @vtext.com, and Sprint is @messaging.sprintpcs.com.
