LPT: Take pictures with your pets (not just OF your pets). These pictures can help you be reunited with your pets after separation due to natural disaster/emergency evacuation.

I live in California, and unfortunately the state has been subjected to a lot of fires and natural disasters over the last year. I also work at a vet hospital with people who volunteer their skills to help with triage, rescue and recovery efforts. One of their major pieces of advice is to take pictures with your pets, as they can serve as proof of ownership in situations where you have been separated and pets are boarded in a separate evacuation facility.
