YSK: keep the address on your driver’s license current. It’s illegal to have an old address and you may have fines delivered via the mail that could suspend your driver’s license if left unpaid.

Speaking from personal experience after getting a Super Speeder ticket in GA. I paid my ticket in court, but didn’t realize the DDS sends an extra ticket via the mail that NEEDS to be paid in order to keep your driver’s license. Since I didn’t pay this extra fine, my driver’s license was suspended w/o my knowledge. The next time I was pulled over for speeding, I spent the night in jail and had to go to court weeks later over a “driving with suspended license” charge.
